Our primary goal is to effectively prepare the African-American IT professional for senior-level responsibility by presenting executive career development, mentoring and networking opportunities for advancing one’s career.

ITSMF members are connected as an extended family and as such members are able to share their professional and personal experiences in an effort to uplift and support one another. ITSMF is often referred to “It’s My Family”, so we invite you to come experience all that ITSMF has to offer.

You are eligible for membership if you hold one of the following positions:
- Fortune 500: Senior IT executive (director-level or above) within two levels of the Corporate CIO or equivalent position
- Medium-size firm or division (revenues under $1 billion): IT executive within two level of the Corporate CIO or equivalent
- Technology services consulting firm (revenues over $1 billion): Top-level executive, typically Partner, Principal or Director
- Privately owned IT company (revenues above $5 million): Owner, CEO and their senior executives
- Government or Educational Institution: Government or Educational Institution: CIO or senior-level IT executive, within one level of the CIO
- College or University: Chairperson of the Technology/systems department
- Not for Profit Organization (revenues of $50M or higher): CIO or executive within one level of the Corporate CIO or equivalent
