Our 2018 theme, “Charting a Digital Path to Reinvention”, set the tone for the 1st Quarter 2018 Symposium and 14th annual Technology Achievement Awards held on March 8-10 at The Renaissance Dallas Hotel in Texas. ITSMF partner Kelvin Beachum, Jr. brought high energy as the presenting partner and Symposium keynote and facilitated an invigorating event that participants were talking about long after it was over.
This two-and-a-half-day Symposium showcased best practices in the areas of technology, leadership and diversity. The event also featured the highly sought-after special interest forums—the EMERGE Women’s Leadership Forum; the IGNITE Entrepreneurial Forum; and the CxO Forum. Nationally-renowned speakers, industry experts, entrepreneurial trailblazers, college students and the ITSMF family of members and associates all came together for a series of thought-provoking, engaging and content rich sessions, culminating in an evening of recognition and celebration of industry luminaries.
On Friday evening, attendees gathered for the annual Technology Achievement Awards Ceremony, ITSMF’s largest fundraiser and marquee event that recognizes today’s innovators and tomorrow’s game changers. In addition to our distinguished 2018 award recipients, we also recognized the Partner of the Year, inducted three new Fellows, and awarded four outstanding college students with scholarships to support their future STEM careers.
Thank you to everyone who attended our Q1 2018 event and for continuing to support the ITSMF mission and vision. We hope to see you in Virginia, May 10-12, 2018, as Capital One hosts our 2nd Quarter Symposium and GIPD Leadership Academy Graduation Ceremony. Here, along with our members, partners, alliances and invited guests, we will continue the conversation of changing the narrative around diversity and inclusion in the workplace and celebrate the achievements of our current and future technology leaders.
